Who is behind Mousse Cassis?

My name is Léna, I am a French native speaker and a Teacher of French as a Foreign Language since 2012.
Currently based in Nice, on the French Riviera, Mousse Cassis French Courses is an education company for French as a Foreign Language that I've founded in 2014. I am very passionnate about my work and my goal is your goal: To improve your skills in French no matter what level or need you have.

 

What are your qualifications?

I have taught French all over the world (such as in Germany, Thailand, Brazil, etc...),  I have a Master of Arts Degree in teaching French. I wrote my Master Thesis on how to use video games in the French course in the Technical University of Munich back in 2013. I tested this concept in a focus group at the same university, a great course which reached its objectives successfully. Nowadays, I continue to find and create original ways to teach and learn French. The goal is for my learners to get an authentic and natural learning process. I already speak English and German fluently and I am currently learning Japanese, so I know how challenging learning a completely new language can be!

 

Why "Mousse Cassis"?

What does a pastry - even if it's French - have anything to do with French learning, you might wonder... That's a good question indeed! Well the "mousse cassis" is my favorite childhood pastry, which for me, evokes positive and motivating feelings. For me, it is the perfect name to describe my teaching style. :-)
